What certification levels does the app cover?
XpressoMedic Scenarios includes scenarios for EMT-Basic, AEMT, and Paramedic levels. Each level has its own scope-appropriate scenarios across all 27 locations in Big Daddyville.
How do I switch between certification levels?
From the home screen, tap the card for your certification level. You can return to the home screen at any time using the back arrow in the top left of the map view.
How do scenarios work?
Tap any location pin on the map to load a scenario for that location. Each scenario reveals one section at a time — dispatch, scene, patient info, vitals, findings, and teaching points — so students work through their assessment before seeing the answers.
Can I use this app for classroom instruction?
Absolutely — that's what it was built for. The reveal-by-section format is designed for instructor-led debriefs. Use the Reset button to clear a scenario and run it again with a new student.
Does the app require an internet connection?
No. All scenarios are stored locally on your device. The app works fully offline once installed.
How do I switch between light and dark mode?
Tap the sun/moon icon in the top corner of any screen. Your preference is saved automatically and carried across both the home screen and map view.
How many scenarios are there?
Each certification level includes 108 scenarios across 27 locations — 4 scenarios per location. Tap Random to get a fresh call at any location.
